How much does the SMP-Elite school management system cost a month?
SMP-Elite is a monthly subscription. There is nothing to install on a school server, because everything runs in a web browser and the Android app. You pick one of three plans:
Core
RM79 a month
The 6 core modules: Dashboard, Students, Classes, Data Import, Settings and Feed, plus Cikgu AI. A good start for schools that begin with student and class records.
Basic
RM199 a month
Core plus Fees, Attendance, Exams and Messages. The choice for schools that want a school fee system and attendance together.
Full
RM299 a month
Every module except e-Invoice: Basic plus Timetable, Management Reports, Discipline, Activity Log, Class Promotion, Lesson Plans and Homework.
School fee system pricing follows the plan: the Fees module (counter payments, numbered official receipts and online payment) is already in Basic and Full, or RM50 a month if you add it to Core. See the school fee collection system page for what that module does.

For comparison, adding Fees, Attendance, Exams and Messages to Core one by one comes to RM239 a month (79 + 50 + 40 + 40 + 30), while the Basic plan covers the same modules for RM199 a month.
Add-on modules
How much are add-on modules if the school does not take the Full plan?
Add-on modules can be added to any plan. Monthly price for each:
- RM50: Fees.
- RM40: Attendance, Exams.
- RM30: Messages, Timetable, Management Reports.
- RM20: Discipline, Activity Log, Class Promotion, Lesson Plans, Homework.
- RM40: e-Invoice, a separate module (see the e-Invoice section below).
If you need many modules, Basic or Full is usually cheaper. The price calculator on the home page shows the cheapest option for the modules you tick and your number of pupils.
For example, Attendance is RM40 a month if added to Core, and already included in Basic and Full. Teachers mark daily attendance from a phone or the web, and guardians can see it straight away.
Yearly payment and larger schools
How are yearly payment and the 1,000-pupil rate worked out?
Pay yearly. You pay 10 months and use 12, so 2 months are at no charge. Core becomes RM790 a year, Basic RM1,990 and Full RM2,990. A school can switch to yearly payment at any time.
Schools with 1,000 or more active pupils. Every price is multiplied by 1.5. At this rate Core is RM119, Basic RM299 and Full RM449 a month. The price calculator uses the school's number of active pupils, and the price is the same for schools with 30 to 999 pupils.

e-Invoice
Is e-Invoice included in the plan price?
No. The e-Invoice module is an add-on at RM40 a month. It generates MyInvois-format e-Invoices from fee receipts, so it needs the Fees module. It is not part of the Full plan and not part of the 30-day trial.
Whether you need e-Invoices depends on the institution's annual turnover (the exemption is currently below RM3 million, and school fees are subject to specific rules). Please confirm with LHDN or your tax adviser.
If your school is not sure it needs e-Invoices, start with the plan that suits you now. The e-Invoice module can be added later, as long as the Fees module is already in place.
Trial
How does the 30-day trial work?
- The trial uses every Full plan module. e-Invoice is not included.
- No credit card and no contract.
- Register with your school name and e-mail, then verify with an OTP code. Import your student list from Excel, and invite teachers, clerks and guardians when you are ready.
- Choose a plan when the school is ready. Your data stays.

There is only one threshold. The rate is the same for 30 to 999 pupils, and schools with 1,000 or more active pupils pay 1.5 times the price for every plan and module.
Is there a contract, and do I need a credit card to try it?
No. The 30-day trial needs no credit card and there is no contract. Register with your school name and e-mail, then verify with an OTP code.
